I had a great weekend enjoying some great Moroccan coffee with friends after a wonderfully hosted birthday party.
Six good friends got to saver this fantastic coffee.
I am so lucky to have these friends in my life.

Evil shopping mall
My Sunday rushed by….and I dreaded getting a gift from the Mall. The suburban Mall is evil. I ran in and out of this mall as fast as I possible could before I was infected by the evil ideology of commercialism. It makes me really crazy to think that I grew up in this backdrop as a part of my suburban existence as a child; it is truly amazing that I have somehow opened my eyes to the hegemony!
YEAH! For all those of you that must enter this evil place best of luck!

Morning Edition, February 14, 2006 · American speed skater Joey Cheek did something very unusual after winning the 500 meter race at the Winter Olympics. He announced he's contributing his $25,000 gold medal award from the U.S. Olympic Committee to refugees from Darfur. And he urged Olympic sponsors to support the same relief effort.
